Hawk is co-owned with Bobbie Deis (Firebird) and we can never thank her enough for sharing this spectacular boy with us. Hawk is a Silken Windhound, and is as smart and athletic as he is lovely! His dam is CCH pointed and a proven rabbit-hunter, I get goosebumps every time I see her. His sire is an ISWS CH, the first silken CCH in Colorado, titled on the field, and was BOB at the 2011 I.I. We look forward to marvelous adventures with Hawk!

Hawk’s ring career in 2012 started at age 13 months at the prestigious UKC Premier, where he picked up WD & BOW over competition both days he was shown. Hawk went Best in Specialty Sweepstakes, and WD for an ISWS major, at the Ohio Classic age 16 months; and finished his UKC and ISWS Championships on the same day at the Gateway Nationals with a BOB over seven specials and a Group 1!! We are thrilled with his whirlwind record in three weekends of competition.

Just shy of 9 months old, Hawk got to go to a fun-run in CO. We think he’s coming along very nicely!

At 8 months, Hawk has perfect ears, black pigmentation, and lovely coat.

Hawk just short of 7 months: coat coming in, balance, and beautiful spring of rib.

Hawk has many details of type: small correct ears, perfect tailset and carriage,

scissor bite, with pitch-black pigmentation and eyes.

22 weeks - 20-1/4” tall and 31.5#.

He has a lovely rear and insanely long tail.

Future Plans

In 2012 his ring career set speed records for both Oxota and Firebird’s kennels. He’s now old enough for field games, and will make his debut on live game this winter. He will be lightly specialed in the ring as time permits.
